If one were to consume the night as their diet, it could involve pancakes and pizza. Then again, one might be eating the wrong things.
But what if one were to consume “the night”? “The night” in this case could mean the air, nocturnal spirituality or just that distinctive vibe that you feel like is all made for you and that you can possess as yours. At least this approach could contain antioxidants and wouldn’t consist of trans fats.
“Electronic Soul Drone” is how Steve Bergeron describes his NightEater project on his Facebook page. Leave it to the artist to describe his project better than music journalists, in this case. NightEater also performs live, which is not the norm for electronic-driven outfits. His actual live show also isn’t the norm, which is one step forward for the platform of electronic music performance.
NightEater has also thrown a wrench in how music is consumed, in the coolest way. It is FREE. You can listen to a couple of his tracks here. Visit his site to download all of his recordings, even a very recently released live recording:
